Description

Integrated Math 3 A extends the learner’s understanding of major algebra concepts such as expressions, equations, functions, and sequences and series. It also extends the learner’s understanding of geometric concepts such as triangles and trigonometric ratios. An emphasis will be placed on the use of appropriate functions to model real world situations and solve problems that arise from those situations. A focus is also on graphing functions by hand and understanding and identifying the parts of a graph. Integrated Math 3 B continues in learner’s studies of algebraic and geometric concepts. This course covers the concepts of probability and statistics, area, volume, conic sections, trigonometric functions, and trigonometric identities. An emphasis will be placed on the use of appropriate functions to model real world situations and solve problems that arise from those situations.

Note: This course cannot be taken for original credit. This is a credit recovery course.

Prerequisite: Algebra II or Integrated Math 2

Changes and Refunds Policy

Parent/Student may cancel any individual Student enrollment in a Course within ten (10) calendar days after the enrollment date in that Course ("Grace Period"). In the event of a timely request for cancellation and approval, HGS will issue a credit to Parent/Student for a future enrollment, but in no event will any refunds be issued. No credit or refund shall be owed to Parent/Student for cancellations or reassignments reported to HGS beyond the Grace Period
